Simpler, more accessible and intuitive

New TaHoma generation at the R+T

“At last it’s that time again and yet it’s a première: The R+T digital represents an important place for our industry – especially in these times – where we can come together virtually and exchange ideas with one another,” explains Jean-Pascal Rey, Managing Director of Somfy Central Europe and Member of the Board of Directors for the North & West Sales Division of the Somfy Group.

More than just a box

With the new TaHoma, Somfy continues its long-standing Smart Home success story. “We are looking forward to presenting our new products and to discussing them intensively with partners, customers, journalists and market players. Our highlight is definitely the presentation of our new TaHoma Switch – but we also have a surprise in store,” Rey announces even before the fair starts. This much can already be revealed: It won’t just be about new hardware. The next TaHoma generation is intended to pursue a clear goal: To make the Smart Home simpler, more accessible and more intuitive in its individual facets – both for private customers and for the trade.

Innovations and virtual networking at the largest industry get-together. In addition to the TaHoma Switch, the Somfy booth will also focus on the new, networked door lock called Door Keeper. At the Smart Home Forum on the Wednesday of the trade fair, Somfy will embark on an entertaining journey through time into the home of tomorrow with Oliver Rilling, Head of Strategic Product Marketing. Virtual or on site – the R+T is the communication magnet for the industry. In order to explore the innovations together and to use the time for personal exchange, Somfy will be inviting all interested customers to a personally guided, virtual tour. In addition, every visitor can also spontaneously drop in at the Somfy booth to talk to the contact persons, attend the sessions in the Somfy auditorium or discover information by themselves independently through videos and brochures.
