To meet these requirements with maximum flexibility, intelligent control systems and powerful drives are needed, which Becker will once again be presenting to the trade public at the first virtual edition of the R+T.
This year, Becker looks back on 100 years of company history. During this time, there have been many further developments in the area of roller shutters and sun protection. “We would have liked to present our current product developments to our customers in person. Since this is unfortunately not possible, we are happy to use the digital path that the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre offers us,” says Frank Techncal, Sales and Marketing Manager at Becker.
BoxCTRL is one of the many new products that Becker is presenting. All that is needed for the Smart Home integration of the new generation of drives is a suitable FRITZ!Box. This intelligent solution was so convincing that it has been nominated for the R+T Innovation Award 2021.
With the new CentronicPlus radio system, the company from the town of Sinn in the Hesse region demonstrates the advantages of bidirectionality. CentronicPlus automatically forms its own mesh network, in which the individual drives and receivers are interconnected. Together with the new CentralControl CC41 home control unit, it forms a system for the Smart Home that can also be conveniently operated on the move using the new Becker app.
The EVO drive series provides moments of tranquillity. Thanks to brushless DC motor technology, they are particularly quiet in operation. In addition, they offer clever additional features such as individually adjustable driving profiles, fly screen protection function and protection against freezing solid.
In addition, there is a drive series with integrated EnOcean radio as well as the SolarKit SK460, which supplies the drive with power with the help of a solar panel and thus enables roller shutter and screen automation independent of the mains.
At the Smart Home Forum at the R+T digital, Frank Techncal will participate as a speaker for Becker drives and present the latest developments, as well as the possibilities that arise from them. Becker’s clear focus is on the benefits for the user of the Smart Home. If the customer is satisfied, the specialist retailer will have more success with sales thanks to connection to the FritzBox. A development that should be good news for manufacturers and retailers.
